Important: These instructions explain how you can request deletion of your personal data that we have collected through our WhatsApp Business integration and other services.
What Data We Collect
Through our WhatsApp Business integration, we may collect:
- Your phone number
- Messages you send to us
- Your name (if provided)
- Conversation history
- Timestamps of interactions
How to Request Data Deletion
Option 1: Email Request
- Send an email to: info@owlypia.org
- Include "Data Deletion Request" in the subject line
- Provide your phone number associated with WhatsApp
- Include any additional identifying information
Option 2: WhatsApp Message
- Send a message to our WhatsApp Business number
- Type: "Delete my data"
- We will process your request and confirm deletion
What Happens After Your Request
- Acknowledgment: We will acknowledge your request within 48 hours
- Verification: We may ask for verification to protect your privacy
- Processing: Data deletion will be completed within 30 days
- Confirmation: You will receive confirmation once deletion is complete
What Data Cannot Be Deleted
We may retain certain data if:
- Required by law or legal proceedings
- Necessary for legitimate business purposes
- Part of anonymized or aggregated datasets
Data Retention Policy
If you don't request deletion, we retain your data according to our Privacy Policy:
- WhatsApp messages: Up to 2 years
- Contact information: While account is active
- Interaction logs: Up to 1 year
